🎨 The "Chef’s Palette" Mixed Edible Flowers! 🌸✨

Ready to turn your plates into a literal work of art? Our Mixed Edible Flower collection is the ultimate "wow factor" for any dish. This isn't just a random handful of petals; it’s a carefully curated, seasonal selection of our most vibrant and flavorful blossoms, hand-picked at our Vaudreuil-Dorion vertical farm.

From high-end Montreal bistros to your own dinner table, these flowers are grown for zero-wilt quality and intense flavor accuracy.

👅 A Symphony of Flavors & Textures

Why settle for one when you can have the whole garden? Our mix typically features a rotating selection of:

  • 🌸 Peppery Nasturtiums: For a bold, radish-like kick.

  • 🌼 Citrusy Marigold Gems: For a zesty, lemon-tangerine burst.

  • 🌱 Velvety Violas: For a mild, sweet, and slightly minty finish.

  • 💠 Borage & Cornflowers: For crisp textures and stunning blues.

👩🍳 How to Use Your Floral Confetti

  • 🍰 Dessert Royalty: Scatter over lemon tarts, chocolate ganache, or berry pavlovas.

  • 🥗 Salad Elevation: Toss into microgreen salads for a pop of color that tastes as good as it looks.

  • 🍸 Cocktail Magic: Float them in a botanical gin and tonic or freeze them into "floral ice cubes".

  • 🧀 Artisanal Boards: Press them into soft goat cheese or herb butters for a show-stopping appetizer.

🌿 Why Casa Verde Mixed Flowers?

  • 🚀 Precision Grown: Cultivated in our small-batch vertical farm specifically for professional culinary use.

  • ✂️ Harvested to Order: We don't harvest until your order is placed, ensuring maximum freshness and "spring" in every petal.

  • 💎 Pure & Clean: 100% non-GMO and grown without any synthetic pesticides—safe, clean, and delicious.

📝 The Details

  • 📅 Availability: Freshly harvested year-round for our Montreal culinary community.

  • ❄️ Storage: Keep them refrigerated in their original breathable packaging. Best used within 3–5 days.

  • 💡 Pro Tip: If your flowers look a little sleepy after their trip, a 2-minute "ice bath" in cold water will wake them right up and make them extra crisp for plating!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are microgreens?
Microgreens are young edible plants — vegetables, herbs, or flowers — harvested 7 to 21 days after germination, once the first true leaves appear. They pack concentrated flavor and nutrients in a few centimeters of growth and finish a plate the way a fully grown herb rarely can.
How do I store microgreens?
Keep them in their sealed clamshell, refrigerated at 2–5°C, away from ethylene-producing fruit and strong-smelling ingredients. Most varieties hold 5–10 days; delicate ones like borage are best used within 48 hours of delivery. Don't rinse until right before service.
Can I request a custom order?
Yes. Tell us your weekly volume, delivery day, and the varieties you want — we plan sowings a week in advance, so standing orders and one-off event orders can both be accommodated. Request wholesale pricing and we'll confirm availability within one business day.
What happens if I'm not home at the time of delivery?
Wholesale deliveries are to the kitchen door during posted hours, not residential drop-offs — we coordinate with your receiver directly. If no one is available at the scheduled window we hold the order at 2–5°C and reroute on the next delivery day. Let us know the best receiving window when you set up the standing order.
